hi i bought a brand new wii game from argos 10/12/08 still unopened and in original wrapper and sealed is it possible for me to get my money back as they are saying its at the managers discretion ... help please my daughter no longer wants it and i would like my cash back 2 get her something else..nichola

Hi -- By the nature of the goods they do not have to accept returns on games unless they are faulty, however, most managers will exercise their discretion in your favour, if the game has not been opened and all the packaging is still sealed and intact.

Just take it back, ask for the Manager or supervisor and explain you bought the wrong item completely by mistake and have not attempted to open it, they will inspect it, but I am sure they will act reasonably.

hope they took it back, i rang customer services as my son was given a game for Christmas from his uncle, but he didn't want it, it was still sealed and they took it back in exchange for something else, don't think they'd have given me cash back tho as i didn't have a receipt, i was watching This Morning yesterday and they said that legally they don't have to accept it back, but if you ask nicely they usually do, but if you go in there all guns blazing they get annoyed and refuse, so go in with a smile... ;-)
