Apologies if this has already been answered but... I opened an Alliance and Leicester Easy ISA account for some of my Icesave money and was told by them that I would be able to split my Icesave money between different ISA accounts. I sent my certificate with my first deposit at the beginning of January and then heard nothing. I phoned several times in January and Feb as I needed proof that the remainder of the money was ISA protected. They are investigating what has happened but say it will take weeks and may go past the deadline in April. Now I think that I should have put all the money into one new ISA and that their advice was wrong. Any advice or similar experience?
