I had a quote from the same company. When I took the car to them the price went down by £1000!!! complete rip off.... but they knew I needed to sell it.

    webuyanycar.com

My wife's been given a company car, and we need to get rid of the 03 plate Citroen C3 we bought last year as her Escort was on it's last legs.

She's put a advert in Autotrader for the last few weeks and had a few calls but no one has actually been to look at the car. She even knocked £250 off the price last week, still no joy. She originally wanted about £2900 has reduced it to £2650 but in reality if she was offered £2500 we'd be happy.

She's had a quote of webuyanycar of £2400 which would be fine but we don't really want to be taking much less than that.

Anyone had any positive experiences with them or will we just be wasting our time letting them have a look when they are just going to knock another few hundred off their quote.

We're torn as there's been little interest, the tax is due (£60 for six months), wev'e just had it MOT'd and we're not too keen on spending more money on advertising.
