Hi guys, im a student and due to some issues i had last month, and emergencies had to go into an unplanned overdraft for a few days, which has left me with a £130 charge to come out in a week, something I simply can't pay, and will put me into another unplanned overdraft, giving a cycle of charges! Im happy to pay it in 2 more weeks, as ive worked extra shifts to make up for it but will get this money a week later. I'm with lloyds bank, is there anyway i can ask to pay it another way? Such as in installments, or on another date? or..is this it?

Speak to your bank and arrange a short term planned overdraft facility, the charges will be cheaper.

Additionally they may (or may not) be willing to waive some of the charges inf you explain the situation. I have heard of cases where they have done this for custoemr's who inrregualry going into an overdraft facility.
