    Re: Best Insurance

    Hi

Third party may well be the same as your fully comp quote, have you tried Yes Insurance who are on our panel who specialise in cars over 5 years old. Also Post Office are constantly coming up top in our tables at the moment with their £50 cashback offer.

    Best Insurance

    Hi,
I have an 1994 Granada Ghia Auto i (Petrol).I have previously been insured fully comp and now have my renewal which is £243.

The thing is although I think my car is worth £1000 if anything were to happen I reckon the insurance would probably only pay about £300.As I am on quite a high excess to keep the premium down I would probably be lucky to get £50.

So I figure I may as well go for the cheapest I can get even if its only third party and I probably wouldnt be any worse off.

The problem is it seems that third party is most times dearer the comp which doesnt make sense to me.

I just wondered what your suggestions might be.

I have done all the comparisons and nobody seems to be able to beat my renewal quote.

    Thanks.
