My wifes car is due for tax at the end of this month

We have tried to do this on-line

According to the askmid site - the car is insured (and it IS - Swinton) - however, the Direct.gov site, tells me that the car is uninsured - and hence we cannot tax it - What is the best way to proceed ?

Take the documents down to the Post Office to get the tax done and then ring Swinton up and ask why it isn't showing up.

Most common problem is incorrect digit ie. 0 & O or something more sinister whereby policy cancelled, moved home, didn't get documents etc.

Remember it's not instant and can take upto 14 days to appear on MID.
