well we enter another month ..so i think its time to give gateway so slow useless car insurance a bell
i was on the phone 30 mins to them i was put on hold 3 times
i ask .can you tell me why we settled on the 25th of august over 6 week ago and still we have not been paid
i was told i will just put you on hold ..whist i find your details
5 mins later a voice says can i have your date of birth
i gave it to them ..
they said i will pop u on hold again ...10 mins later
another voice says .hello gateway can i help you
and theres me thinking somebody already was ..what a fool i am
i ask her about why they have not sent out any letter or payment from our settlement on the 25th of august
she then transfered me to there total loss dept
i ask them the same question why have we not had anything in writing nor payment from the settlement on the25th of august
she says its because we had to stop the first cheque that we sent witrh the wrong amount on
im thinking how did they do that .did they stop the postman outside our house as we have never recieved a payment with the wrong amount on...im thinking how long does it take to stop a cheque that hasnt been posted....
so i asked her how come its took 6 week and my call today to find this out
she apologiesed and said the payment will be sent out to my broker in the next few days...well guess were thats going then ..yes you guessed it it will be sent to swinton my broker not my home address so lets see how long gateway take to send it to swinton and for them to send it to me
i then ask her about my claim that as been passed to experto if she could give me there phone number .she said she didnt have it ..i have to rephone gateway....and heres me thinking again i started this conversation with gateway how silly of me..to think there total loss dept would know this or be able to transfare me back to them
i must stop stressing these people out with questions they cant understand
after all im taking up there valuable time 3 diffrent people and 20 odd mins on hold
so to some up todays call
no decent answer to why its took 6 week and my call..to be told they had to stop a cheque i have never seen

i reckon theyve got a sneaky wager going on to see who can keep me on hold the longest

only a fool would take insurance out with this 100% useless company that is highly recommended by swinton
always ask when renewing who your insurer will be if they say gateway ..then its up to you
nearly 18 month to get a settlement on a fully comp insurance ..and still not got it yet
