    Re: Ipod losing albums

Depends on whether you are using Windows or Mac. There is an issue that I have seen with the iPods sometimes losing their database settings. If this is the case, the best thing you can do is a factory reset and then restore the iPod from the iTunes backup. Do this by plugging in your iPod to iTunes and then selecting RESTORE from the summary menu. This has worked for the Windows-based community on a number of occasions. I have not seen this with Mac-based solutions, but it is still possible as the iPods have to survive in much harsher conditions than PCs.

    Suggest that you try http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/

Which is Apples problem solver for these modern "record players"

Do you have the latest version of itunes ?

    Ipod losing albums

    Afternoon,

I seem to be having problems with my Ipod, whilst uploading some albums last night, i've discoverd that at least five of my previous albums have disappeard off my ipod completely and they won't go back on! They are still accessable through itunes and they were on my ipod, and worked fine for ages, there is also plenty of space on the memory!

I was wondering if anybody else has had this issue? or if there is a fix available to sort it?
