After looking at your exchange which is the Leicester Central exchange I can confirm the possibility of 6.5Mbps the following major suppliers have Not invested in your exchange:

O2 / Be Unlimited is not yet available in your area

TalkTalk (CPW) has not yet unbundled your exchange

Pipex is not yet available in your area

Your best options would be:

AOL - £9.99 for first 6 months, £14.99 thereafter, Up to 8Mb, unlimited downloads (fair use), free wireless router, free evening and weekend calls UK landlines for a limited time. Call 0800 200 6281

Virgin Media - £14.99 per month, Up to 8 Mb, unlimited downloads (fair use), free evening and weekend calls to UK landlines.

If you want just broadband on its own then that's a whole different story but assuming you have a BT landline then the above are the best options. Please note though neither of them have very good customer service or technical support.

And overall the best deals for calls and broadband come when you have the line rental with the same provider.

hi, i am moving into a new apartment on saturday and would like your help choosing a broadband and phone bundle. it does not matter if it is cable or adsl but it will need an 8mb connection as the line is only capable of 6.5mb and it also needs to be unlimited downloads. because i work evenings it doesnt matter about peak usage and i only want evenings and weekend calls. The post code is LE1 1QA. any help would be much appreciated.
