    Re: Price comparison

    Hi Jalexa.

Apologies for the delay in responding – I’ve been catching up after a short break up in Scotland.

I’ve chased our energy team about the Eon Price Protection Plan 17 not appearing in the list of current tariffs and this has now been added so you should now able to make a comparison.

If you spot anything that requires updating or isn’t showing something you’re expecting, please don’t hesitate to let me know on my email address below. Similarly, if there are any improvements you’d like to see, feel free to drop me a line and I’ll make sure Scott and the team are aware.

    Thanks again,

    Graeme

    Helena - E.ON:

The reason that you are unable to select Price Protection Version 17, is due to this product no longer being on sale.

But that's not my interpretation of the OPs post. Regardless of interpretation what I posted was true. On the Moneysupermarket comparison website (but not certain other Consumer Focus accredited websites) it's not possible to select Price Protection 17 as the current tariff.

    Hi cannonfodder

The reason that you are unable to select Price Protection Version 17, is due to this product no longer being on sale.

A new version of this may be launched in the future, but I do not have dates or details if this will happen.

    Hope this helps.

    Helena

    cannonfodder:

Well spotted. It continues to amaze me that a Consumer Focus accredited comparison website can be missing comparisons and this would not be the first.

However in answer to your last question, other popular Consumer Focus accredited comparison websites do include E.ON Price Protection 17. Not allowed to mention competitors, "U" will just have to guess.

    Price comparison

It seems that the Price Protection plan 17 has been omitted from the input section. Any reason for that? Is there anything comparable in order to get reasonable comparison?
