Your transferring services, so the next bit of info doesn't really apply to you. On the point of the 30 day cancellation notice, this actually allows your ISP can stop services any time after you ask, they don't have to wait until the 30 days is up.

Alright, thanks. I thought asking MAC from broadband is the same as Mobile phone where we have to get them 1 month earlier to avoid extra 1 month charges because they required 30 days notice to cancel it.

Thanks for your reply. When do you normally ask your provider for MAC code, For example if i take this contract on 12 July 2007 for 12 months contract. Should i ask them on 12 June 2008 or 12 July 2008?

You can register the broadband under a different name to the BT Phone Line. Mine is - or was, until I switched to TIscali.

I am currently using BT Option 3, I signed up for this contract on 3rd July 2007 under 12 months contract.

I am just wondering when is the right time for me to ask for MAC code? I am so fed up with the BT because of their slow speed.

Other question is, can i register O2 Broadband under my name whilst the current BT Phone Line and broadband is currently not under my name? The reason why i wanted to put under my name because i am O2 Customer or am I able to still get discount as long as the billing address is same but different owner name?
