Hasn't this already been answered above? As in:

If for some bizarre reason you decide to use Talk Talk click the green "Broadband" tab at the top of [this] page then click the appropriate green "Go To Site >" button. That will put you forward to the sign-up page. (These steps can still be cancelled - those two clicks won't commit you to a contract!)

Not sure what more I can add.

    Hello ranee,

Sometimes BT can charge if your line has been deactivate for 6 months however this is not always the case most of the time BT will simply ask you to take out a 12 month contract with them if you move back. Bear in mind TalkTalk is a commitment it's not worth applying if you leave at the end of the contract.

    Kind Regards

    Michael.

(Please don't ask the same question half a dozen different times in twenty different threads.)

If for some bizarre reason you decide to use Talk Talk click the green "Broadband" tab at the top of the page then click the appropriate green "Go To Site >" button. That will put you forward to the sign-up page. (These steps can still be cancelled - those two clicks won't commit you to a contract!)

Remember there is also line rental (of £10.50) and the £2 off is just for nine months and you have a £30 connection fee. So you get an £18 intro for an 18 month contract. Compare this with, say, O2 where the connection fee is currently free and you can get a £20-25 referral payback (but not from moneysupermarket - google the usual suspects.)* Of course, the Talk Talk package may be an appropriate package for you - I am just pointing out the highlighted £2 off promotion is pretty trivial and is not something to be excited by. And remember it will cost you £115 to £190 to switch away from Talk Talk even at the end of the 18 month contract - another expense to consider.

I do agree with Rob about one thing. Customer service is meaningless - one very rarely needs to contact them so I don't really see why people always moan about it.

    * And, of course, many other providers have an initial 3 to 6 month discount that is much more than £2
