Check your contract; there should be a clause allowing recission of the contract after a specific period if the development has not been completed, as for example 30 months in our case. There will also likely be a clause allowing the developer to extend under certain 'unforeseen' circumstances - finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/flintglass
